Don't act like you didn't love it

I know you were staring at the goods through those sun glasses

I think he's too young for that sort of content.

    He looks violated...

    Good Point.

Maybe a charity donation jar, that way people can give more if they like. :)

for this meet, I donated extra via the go fund me link posted before the meet happened, so that was an option for this time, maybe next time too

Still think a 50/50 would be cool. And being able to purchase more raffle tickets.

Yes. The purchase of MOAR raffle tickets. I will buy all of the tickets. And win all of the things.

    Dubs in the buff,

I'm the father of Cailyn, and owner of PerformancLEDs.com and have been struggling with both running to business and managing my daughters [as of May we had our second, hence why this post is a bit overdue.]

I want to take a moment to offer everyone a huge thank you to not only Dubs in the Buff but anyone who simply shared the post and/or said a prayer. Since her first incident in February we've gone through a whole gambit of emotions and situations. Cailyn is an amazing kid, as cliche as that sounds she's quite an anomaly. She's full of energy and charisma and really knows how to endear even those who are uncomfortable around kids. If you saw her today, you'd never know that something so scary lurked behind her bright smile and sharp wit. Thankfully, mentally she seems to be the same as before. After several radiographs of all kinds and various other tests, we've been forced to sit and wait to see how she progresses over the next few years. This combined with my wife's graduation last month has resulted in us moving to Orlando, FL for the next few years to work more closely with her neurologists. Physically, my wife and I have noticed some things that seem a bit off but we're hopeful its just part of her growth and development process. The diagnosis is hovering between simple seizures or hemiplegic migraine, both of which have similar symptoms so it's extremely hard to diagnose. We did a 5 day EEG to see if we could capture any seizure events. I look at it as a good thing that they did not capture any events, but this leaves hemiplegic migraines to be the diagnosis of exclusion [because they can't confirm one...then it must be the other] as there is no way to test for hemiplegic migraines. They said it may take a few more events to be certain, between the two I'm forced to hope for it to be hemiplegic migraines as they don't have some of the risks of worsening and being fatal like you do with seizures. The downside, there isn't much in the way of medications to help. For now, we wait and continue doing random tests to see if we can catch something.

On a side note, if anyone is interested I'd like to offer up a special discount for you guys on some LED products at PerformanceLEDs.com

Just reply here and let me know and I'll work with Chris on doing something to give back to the group.

hey man! I'm glad you replied! ever since I read this story I've wanted to let you know that I actually had similar issues when I was a kid! I had a handful of seizures, totally at random, went to a bunch of different specialists, and they never actually found out what was wrong with me (and they never will MUAAHHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAH)

but in all seriousness, I really hope that this is just a thing she grows out of, just like it was for me! reading her story made me think of all the times I heard my mom talk about my "episodes" when i was a boy. i dont remember them at all either. it must have been really scary for them. I had 2 just like her, and im now 31 and a kinda normal person

    good luck with everything!

Glad we could help out a little bit, and I truly hope that she gets through this with no long term effects. Thanks for stopping by with an update.
