more recently, i've begun to notice that the steering column and dash get very hot and radiate that heat into the driver area. its quite uncomfortable to say the least. my theory is the hot engine bay is heating up the steering shaft inside the bay and its transferring that heat to the steering wheel and ignition assembly. I also have the under belly panel removed due to missing all/most of the connectors. i plan on ordering replacement hardware kit to put it back on.

would you think the under belly assembly would be causing this odd condition? i'm no an expert in air/fluid dynamics, but i somewhat think its causing a negative air condition and the belly pan acts as a venturi to pull out that trapped hot air.

or do i have another condition like a stuck thermostat? A/c seems to be weak as well.

thanks for any help in advance!

I have no belly pan no heat issues my guess would be one of ur heating vents it's stuck or came disconnected and is open in ur dash would give u shitty a/c
